Strangely associated to illness and stress.
Went to the Lincoln Park Pub to meet up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sharpshinyclaws and bindrune. I thought a couple of other peeps would be there too...zeldachic, djdillydally, and her husband, but only the last of them ever appeared.
The bartender was an ass. Totally stuck-up snotty, seemingly put-out by our requests. I must admit that the satisfaction in knowing that my andbindrune's ordering red meat totally disgusted him was outstanding!!!
And I don't think I would have even ordered food except for that the Irish Coffee was made with nothing but whiskey and coffee (I am Americanized, what can I say? I like the Irish cream to mellow things out a bit!)and I was quite buzzed after only drinking my first.
It was fun hanging out with the two of them...they tried to entice me with the ways of the Grid, but I was already committed to the SOB release at the Phantasy. I told them that maybe I would come out after the show, but if I wasn't there by one, I wouldn't be.
And I wasn't.
