So here's the deal...You get to ask me *1 Question* any one question, no matter how crazy, inappropriate, sexual, or just random, and I promise to answer it 100% truthfully...the catch is...you have to repost this and see what people ask you....so go for it!

~*~*~*~*~

I don't really care if you repost it. I mean, I'll ask you a question if I see you've posted it yourself, but I'm not requiring you to do so. I'm really just looking for diversion from my work here and there. I've got a LOT of shtuff to do on the 'puter today, so a little indulgence will go a long way after staring into a computer screen for roughly five hours.

3. What is your favorite object in the room with you? The Jawndomay Christmas tree.
4. What is the most valuable object? The love and warmth that permeates from everything, dust bunnies included.
5. What is the ugliest object? There's some plastic sheeting-type shtuff on the floor behind me.

a meme of sorts, I guess.

See, last year when all kinds of people were sad and down, particularly around election time, I went in search of photographs which embodied beauty and hope in some aspect or another, and posted only those for a while.

What I'd like to ask all of you to do is the following:

1. Think about the holidays, winter, etc., and what brings you the most joy in these times.

2. Find a picture which represents that feeling/ thought/ idea, and post it, either here in my comments or in your own journal. Or, do the latter, and send me a link so I know where to find it.

3. Rinse, and repeat in your own journal.

Reply to this entry by posting a picture of yourself in the comments, then post this sentence in your own journal.

Com'on, y'all...entertain the sick and weary.

How's THAT for pitiful?!!!

You too can improve the world!

Just follow these easy steps:

1. Find someone you've been lying to, avoiding without telling them, annoyed with and covering it, not calling back, making up excuses to, cheating on, allowing to linger in uncertainty, dodging the subject with, thinking poorly of, bullshitting, allowing to live without the whole story on something, fabricating details with, using as a means of support(financial or otherwise), pretending to be someone you're not, or any other sort of truth-aversive activity.
2. Sit them down.
3. Muster up a big headful of "I won't benefit from this anymore, but it'll make the world a better more honest place" from somewhere inside yourself.
4. Tell the fucking truth.

This has the potential to hurt people's feelings, change the way your life functions, make people think less of you, get you in trouble, foil your manipulations, ruin your career, and put you out on your gold digging ass... but buck up: all those things build character. And if you continue to tell the truth from that point forward, you won't wind up in that situation again!

Its revolutionary, really.

Of course, it lacks most of the essential traits a meme seems to need for propagation... it doesn't lean towards needless but socially acceptable self absorption, doesn't provide any undeserved benefit to you in exchange for the O2 -> CO2 conversion you did while speaking, doesn't get everyone pretending to be very interested in facile minutia that they're going to forget as soon as someone else becomes interested in THEIR facile minutia, and doesn't post enormous amounts of potentially damaging information out into the noosphere where any asshat can use or abuse it to their liking.

But hey, not all memes are meant to survive.

+++++

makes ya go, "hmmm...."

c/o everyone everywhere...YAY FOR WE LEMMINGGGGGSS!!!

1.) Reply with your name and I will write something I like about you.
2.) I will then tell what song/movie/icon reminds me of you.
3.) If I were to apply an o'clock to you, I'll tell you what it would be.
4.) I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
5.) I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.
6.) I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
7.) I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.
8.) Put this in your journal.

Please keep in mind I am singing/ busy all weekend, so if I don't get back to this immediately, sit tight! I'll be back in a jiffy!

Oh, and thank you to everyone who commented on my last post. I appreciated all the input, and am still working on getting back to each of you as well. I love a good conversation, and you all gave me much food for thought! ~8)

Time to go help a friend...

Besides, I don't really feel like playing tag right now.

And now, more e-crack, c/o Bruder )
